Christian is the coordinator for project 6. He is a historian and is completing a PhD on the Orthodox Church in Bulgaria.

Research team
Researcher: Vanya Ivanova
Vanya is a project manager of the History project at DVV international – SEE region, and works in the field of interactive methods of handling and teaching recent history in the Balkans. In addition Vanya is a researcher at the New Bulgarian University’s Center for European Refugees Migration and Ethnic Studies (CERMES), where she is conducting her PhD research in the field of migration studies and more specifically in forced migration.
Her main geographical focus is Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Lead researcher: Prof. Daniela Koleva
Daniela is professor in Social and Cultural Anthropology and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sofia. Her research interests are in the field of oral history and biographical research (including their potential for the study of women's history); memory; anthropology of socialism and the socialist emancipation of women; and Bulgarian historiography.
Her main geographical focus is Bulgaria.

Teodora is a Research Associate, Department of Sociology of Religions and Everyday Life, at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Assistant Professor in Theory of Religion, Department for History and Theory of Culture, Sofia University. Her research interests include the philosophy of history, theory and sociology of religion and oral history.
Her main geographical focus is Bulgaria.
