Researcher: Dr. Colette Harris
Colette is Senior Lecturer in Conflict, Governance and Development at the Overseas Development Group at the University of East Anglia. She is a Development Anthropologist, focusing on issues of violence and conflict, governance, post colonial state building, Muslim societies, sexualities, (reproductive) health, migration, and community development /transformative education - all explored through a gendered lens.
Her areas of geographical expertise include Tajikistan and Uganda.
Colette is leader of the Work Package, 'Gender Aspects of Violent Conflicts'.
