Christophe is Professor in Economics at THEMA. His main areas of interest are development economics, poverty analyses, theoretical and applied microeconomic modelling of household behaviour and living standards in developing countries and statistical methods adapted to issues arising in developing economies.
His main geographical area of specialisation is Sub-Saharan Africa, especially Rwanda and the Gambia.

Researcher: Silvia Jarauta
Silvia is affiliated to UCP, and is pursuing a PhD in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Alicante, entitled, 'Coping with Conflict? An assessment of the Palestinian vulnerability'. Her areas of specialisation include poverty, vulnerability, risk management strategies, conflict and household-level analysis.
Her main geographical area of interest is the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
