Libor has 27 years of experience in forestry, soil and water conservation and international development, working in international organizations, academia, and engineering firms. His main research interests are water resources management and policy, forest policy, and soil physics.
He has worked in over 15 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America for research and project work.

Lars is a geographer, and his main research interests are global environmental change and its effects on the availability and scarcity of natural resources and how they increase risks of violent conflicts.
His main geographical area of expertise is Sub-Saharan Africa.
