Researcher: Dr. Michalis Lianos
Michalis is a sociologist working on an empirically informed theory of socio-economic and socio-cultural transition in late modernity. He co-ordinated the European project “Uncertainty and Insecurity in Europe” and co-directs the European Observatory on Liberty and Security at the Paris Institute of Political Science.
His work has mainly focussed on Western Europe.
Michalis is co-leader of the Work Package on the Conceptual Framework.
